1st skate of 2010/11 - a perfectly flat ice cube

It's a fair bit of work to make a perfectly flat ice cube alongside (against?) mother nature..... Flooded the rink of Dec 3 - finished filling with about 3500US gallons of water at 10pm.... 1st skate on December 8th at about 6pm.... Of course kids are light.... about 2.25" of clear ice. Supports me in boots, but probably not skates yet.
